REALLY?? REALLY?? My tiny baby boy turned 7?? We had a fun little party for Bry last month to celebrate his birthday. He got to invite a friend and Tyler took them and Maddie to the new trampoline park here in Logan. The kids loved it! Then we got some pizza and had root beer floats. Pretty low key which is how we're rolling these days. :) And just because I love to remember these precious moments....
This is our first official family photo!! We got the call late one night that Heidi had signed relinquishment papers and so we could go down to the hospital that night and sign everything and make it official!! I'm actually crying right now thinking about all the memories! It was so amazing to hold our little 3 pound 15 ounce boy and know that he was going to be ours forever!! This was about a week after he was born. He ended up staying in the hospital for 3 weeks and then he came home a few days before Thanksgiving.
This pic shows a little better just how tiny he really was! I still can't believe it!
Heidi gave Bry this bear when we did our official placement. We went to the LDS services agency after he was released from the hospital and met her and her parents there. We spent some time together taking pictures and talking and then she spent some time alone with him. Then she came back in the room with him and gave him to me. We hugged each other, cried and cried and cried, and then she left. The courage she had and the selfless love she showed is indescribable.
Love love love this girl for giving us our beautiful wonderful boy!
So Bry woke up the morning of his birthday SOOOO excited to open his presents. We weren't going to have his little party until the next day so we let him open the loot. He got some great stuff!!
This is by far his favorite present!! We got him a set and Grandma got him a set of these awesome legos! He has literally played with nothing else for the last month. He builds then takes apart and then builds again. :)
Nana sent more stuff to fill up our craft box. My kids LOVE to create! Give them tape, paper, scissors and some markers and they will go to town! So, last Christmas my mom sent a big tupperware box full of STUFF and it was running out. So, we got refills on duct tape (the colored kind!!), markers, scissors and more paper. Two happy kids right there!!
Bryson, you brighten my life and make me smile every single day! You are so loving and kind and have such a wonderful, tender heart! LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU MY BOY!!

My 12 yo Josh adores this boy https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-UmGCe4oswCI/UL-bt7oUHRI/AAAAAAAACeA/SXKZhFsLyhA/s0/DSCN0152.JPG When I downloaded the original I resized/resampled it and displayed the boy life size. Josh got the biggest kick out of displaying the boy life size, especially since the boy appeared to be directly in front of us! Josh commented the boy is so frickin cute and looks really good! The next thing I knew Josh leaned close and began giving the boy big juicy kisses on the lips. He finally looked at me with a big grin and exclaimed, "the display is warm and smooth so it seemed like I was really kissing him LOL!" Josh said he is going to put the boy on display life size in his room in one of his large digital picture displays and this cutie is going to be his little kissing buddy, and it will be like so much fun to have him around to look at and kiss whenever he wants! I asked Josh if he took this boy on a date to the movies would he hold his hand and kiss him and Josh was like, oh hell yes!
