We had a FANTASTIC week with Maddie's Gradma Vicki, her mom, Marion and her daughter, Katie. They got here last Tuesday and stayed til Saturday. I wish I would have done a video of Maddie when they drove up. We were waiting outside for them and Maddie started jumping up and down, turning round and round and screaming! We had been talking about Vicki coming for a couple of days so she was SUPER excited to see them. :) She ran right up to them and gave Vicki a HUGE hug and then ran to Marion and gave her one too! Bryson went STAIGHT to Katie and didn't let her out of his sight the whole week. :) Vicki was prepared to give Maddie a day to warm up to her but if you know my cute Maddie Girl, that was definately NOT required. She's so friendly and LOVED them the minute she saw them. In fact, she called Marion "Grandma" the whole time they were here and called Vicki just by her first name. It was so funny. She even prefered Marion over Vicki. :) Vicki was pretty sad about that one! But we were able to do lots of fun things while they were here and had a BLAST with them.
The kids were super excited to wake up the next morning and go downstairs to see the Grandmas!
Vicki spoiled the kids ROTTEN of course and brought tons of books, clothes, yummy treats, bubbles and sand toys. The kids were SOOO excited to open all the presents!
We also went to the park while they were here. We packed a picnic lunch and the kids ate and played for a couple of hours. The weather was SO perfect. 70's the whole time. It's about time!!
On Friday we went to Summerfest. It was way fun to walk around and see all the great art and other cool stuff. I love summerfest! Vicki wanted to get the kids these AWESOME balloon hats. They turned out super cute!
THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE WONDERFUL WEEK, GUYS!! We love you so much and can't wait to see you soon. :)
